Thank you for your interest in membership in the Skaneateles Figure Skating Club!

Below are the steps to purchase SFSC membership and a Skaneateles Community Center Ice Package.


Step 1:  Are you a member of US Figure Skating?

We require US Figure Skating membership for insurance purposes.

If you are already a US Figure Skating member, please provide your number when completing the registration form (below). Note: Membership year runs July 1 – June 30th.

If you are not a USFS Member, we will complete your USFS registration through our Club. Please contact our membership chair for assistance. Pricing is as follows:

Step 2:   Will SFSC be your home club with US Figure Skating?

If SFSC will be your home club (e.g., you do not belong to another club), then you will purchase a Home Club Membership.

If you belong to another club as your primary club, then you will purchase an Associate Membership. On the registration form, we will ask you to identify your Home Club.

Step 3:   Submit your Membership Payment

Please calculate your total. The following is a calculation example for a skater who is new to USFS, wants to join as a Full Club Member and pays through Venmo.

Please submit your payment, using one of the following three options.

Option 1:  Venmo @SkanFSC

Option 2: 

Mail a check payable to “SFSC” to PO Box 155, Skaneateles, NY 13152 or bring it to club ice and place in the SFSC locked drop box at the entrance to the Duke Rink at the Skaneateles Community Center


Step 4:  Purchase an Ice Package

SFSC purchases Club Ice at a discounted rate from the Skaneateles Community Center to reserve the time for our skaters and private coaches. Skaters then purchase Ice Packages from the SCC to access the ice. Skaters must be an SFSC home or associate club member to purchase a discounted ice package. Those who are both SFSC and SCC members get the largest discount. Approved skaters are always welcome to pay the walk-on fee of $30 per session, and attend as their schedule permits. Package skaters get priority.

SFSC/SCC Ice Package pricing for the Spring Session, May 4, 2025 to June 29, 2025 is as follows:

Skaters can use their sessions during any of the SFSC Club Ice times. Our session times are:

MONDAYS 6:45–8:45 pm
THURSDAYS 6:45–8:45 pm
SUNDAYS 4:45–6:45 pm

The SCC has Ice Package forms available at the front desk. You can also find the form under the FORMS heading on our main page. The SCC will not allow your skater on the ice until their form and payment are turned in. All skaters and coaches must sign in at the desk upon entry to building before skating.
